Following the recently concluded Awarding & Recognition Rites of the Civil Service Commission last January 17, 2024, where PPCWD was presented its Accreditation Award and Certificates of Recognition for its Recruitment, Selection, and Placement and Performance Management Systems, the PPCWD has successfully undergone the virtual assessment conducted by the PSED-Civil Service Commission on January 30, 2024. This virtual assessment was done as part of the final requirements for the qualification of PPCWD for the PRIME-HRM Bronze Award.
Based on the assessment, PPCWD is fully implementing the remaining 2 HR Systems under PRIME-HRM, the Learning & Development and Rewards & Recognition. Additional evidence requirements will also be submitted in support of its implementation.
After carefully evaluating the presented data and information, the CSC PSED Region IV finally recommends the PPCWD for the Bronze Award. This recommendation will then be forwarded to the CSC Central Office.
GM Walter J. Laurel announced during the PPCWD Radio Program “Tubig Mo, Serbisyo Ko!” the importance of this recognition as it empowers the most important asset of the PPCWD, its human resources. Further, Acting Department Manager for Administrative Services, Ms. Grace Borja, emphasized that this recommendation would not be possible without the collective effort and support of all of the employees, Management, and Members of the Board and that even after this recognition, the PPCWD will continuously improve all aspects of its services.
PPCWD has successfully achieved maturity level 2 in the following HR Systems:
1. Recruitment, Selection & Placement awarded on November 29, 2022
2. Performance management on November 3, 2022
3. Rewards and Recognition on November 13, 2023
4. Learning and development on November 13, 2023
