The Puerto Princesa City Water District is thrilled to receive its recognition, the ARTA RCS Silver Award, from the Anti-Red Tape Authority (ARTA). This award recognizes a very satisfactory rating performance in complying with anti-red tape standards.

PPCWD was represented by the General Manager, Walter J. Laurel, and Director Edgardo A. Palanca to receive the plaque of recognition during the 2023 ARTA Report Card Survey (RCS) 2.0 Awards for the 2023 RCS 2.0 on October 30, 2024, at the Conrad Hotel in Pasay City.

The Report Card Survey 2.0 is an updated evaluation tool from the ARTA to measure government agencies’ efficiency, compliance, and service quality regarding anti-red tape laws and in line with the Republic Act 11032, Ease of Doing Business (EODB) Law. Given a very satisfactory rating, this reflects the agency consistently adheres to the standards imposed which reflected a strong implementation of streamlined procedures and client-satisfied services.

GM Laurel shared that the agency’s next goal is to attain an outstanding rating in the coming years and will work on improving procedures and compliances.

The PPCWD lifts this award with pride alongside Palawan, as the sole awardee from the province, hoping to inspire and motivate other government agencies to strive for excellence and align with these standards.

We thank our workforce and community for their unwavering support, which fuels our commitment to delivering quality service with efficiency and transparency to the people of Puerto Princesa City!
