In participation in the global observance of World Water Day, PPCWD conducted a series of Information and Education Campaigns at Mabuhay, Bagong Bayan, and Iratag Elementary Schools last March 22 and 25, 2024.
The IEC activity focuses on the importance of water resources and environmental protection. Student Leaders of Puerto Princesa Pilot Elementary Schools also joined the activity at Mabuhay Elementary School as storytellers.
The main material used for the activity was PPCWD’s Ang Tubig at Ikaw: Ecowarrior Adventure storybook. This storybook underscores the importance of water resources and how can we positively impact our environment, regardless of our age, gender, and social status.
Part of the activities is the Ecowarrior Pledge, wherein participating students pledge to contribute to the protection of our environment.
