This year’s theme is “Accelerating Change” which encourages everyone to take action in solving the water and sanitation crisis.
This year’s campaign, “ʙᴇ ᴛʜᴇ ᴄʜᴀɴɢᴇ ʏᴏᴜ ᴡᴀɴᴛ ᴛᴏ sᴇᴇ ɪɴ ᴛʜᴇ ᴡᴏʀʟᴅ” refers to the ancient story of how a tiny hummingbird reacted to a fire crisis in the forest. Like in the story of the hummingbird, our actions – no matter how small- make a difference.
For this year’s celebration, PPCWD is conducting an information drive, bringing together select senior high school students including those from Irawan National High School and Sta. Monica National High School to raise awareness on PPCWD’s water production and water treatment process, and encourage everyone to take action in accelerating change.
The Information Drive highlights the water production process and water treatment process of PPCWD from source to our homes, encouraging the youth to get involved and make a difference in our community.
Small drops still make ripples.
The actions we take – no matter how small – make a difference in helping solve the water crisis:
Report water leaks
Fix leaking pipes and water fixtures
Stop polluting
Plant a tree
The event was participated by more than 250 students and teachers from Irawan National High School and Sta. Monica National High School.
Be the change you want to see in the world!
