Puerto Princesa City Water District holds the blessing & inauguration ceremony for the Luzviminda Level 3 Water Supply System on September 28, 2022. The ceremony was attended by the Honorable Mayor Lucilo R. Bayron, Vice Mayor Nancy Socrates, and City Councilor Elgin Damasco. Also present during the program is Deputy Mayor for Luzviminda Sir Rolando “Bong” Amurao and Brgy. Luzviminda Chairperson, Hon. Laddy Gemang.

Aside from the existing water system in Brgy. Luzviminda, one of the highlights of the inauguration is the recently completed new project components that include the Infiltration Gallery at Brgy. Sta. Lucia and the Transmission Line from Brgy. Sta. Lucia to Brgy. Luzviminda. The overall project cost amounts to P22,405,483.94, to which the P5,200,000.00 was covered by the City Government of Puerto Princesa.

General Manager Walter J. Laurel emphasized that the PPCWD is truly grateful for the support of the Puerto Princesa City Government, through the leadership of Hon. Mayor Lucilo R. Bayron. Moreover, Mayor Bayron congratulates the residents of Brgy. Luzviminda, the PPCWD, and the whole City Government of PPC for another successful project.

PPCWD also announced during the program, the acceptance of applications for new water service connections at Brgy. Luzviminda will resume starting today.

A One-Stop-Shop Activity is also scheduled on October 4, 2022, at Brgy. Luzviminda. Interested residents can file their applications during the said activity.
