The Puerto Princesa City Water District previously released information regarding the implementation of split minimum (from 10 cubic meter monthly minimum consumption to 5 cubic meter) last February 26, 2020. However, due to the persistent decline in our water supply and its adverse effect on our consuming public, we would like to inform that PPCWD, through Board Resolution No. 08-20-028 dated March 13, 2020, will temporarily lift the implementation of the said minimum rate and will bill according to the actual monthly consumption of our consumers, both residential and commercial service connections. This implementation will take effect for the month of March 2020 until the lifting of the implementation of water rationing. Further, as one of the precautionary measures against COVID-19, we will temporarily suspend the disconnection of service lines of our consumers; this is for the continuous use of water supply and to avoid overcrowding at our Bayad Centers during the due date and disconnection period (social distancing).
Rest assured that we are doing our best effort in dealing with this crisis. We apologize for the inconvenience.
Thank you for your continued support and cooperation.
