Furthermore, the Iwahig facility conducts a post-chlorination process. This vital final step provides a protective residual disinfection that keeps the water completely safe and contaminant-free as it travels from the facility, through the extensive city distribution pipelines, and straight to your tap. All processes strictly comply with the stringent safety parameters set by the Philippine National Standards for Drinking Water (PNSDW) of 2017.
