With the technical assistance from Local Water Utilities Administration, Philippine Water Works Association, Department of Health, and USAID-Strengthening Urban Resilience for Growth with Equity (SURGE), PPCWD WATER SAFETY PLAN, together with other 67 water districts, has finally received its Certificate of Acceptance awarded by the Department of Health during the World Environmental Health Day Ceremony at Hotel H2O Manila on September 26, 2019.
Water Safety Plan is a unique document that shall guide every Water District in maintaining, monitoring, and ensuring the safety of the water they produce- from the source down to each household, through different comprehensive and systematic approaches. Monitoring of its implementation involves both teams from inside and outside the water district.
